Low-cost basketball clinics for grades 3-8
I am a visual art teacher at SDCSC. My son and I, with Mark Corbin from Rising Sun, have embarked on a vision to help our community children by starting low-cost basketball clinics at the AARC. Our goal is to start with clinics, form recreational leagues, enter local tournaments, and even possibly extend into some AAU teams. We want to offer a chance for our local community kids to get out of the house, off the gaming systems, make new friends, learn and get better at the sport. We are working with the ARCC to make this happen and we are excited to offer this opportunity to children who want to participate in the sport but might not have made or joined their prospective school teams for reasons unknown
