Since the age of 5, Rick new he wanted to be on the radio airwaves. At age 13, the program director at his local hometown radio station 106.7 WBLZ-FM finally got tired of the persistence Rick had to be a part of the radio station…..and gave him his first radio job. Running St. Louis Cardinals Baseball games on the sister AM station 1590 WPCO. And the rest is History. By age 16, he was doing evenings on WBLZ. Upon his high school graduation, he attended Vincennes University to pursue a degree in radio. His 1st semester he was doing a full-time night show. Rick has done everything from high school football, basketball, and volleyball to Division 1 basketball and football play-by-play, morning shows, afternoons and night shows. Rick comes to southeastern Indiana after growing up and doing radio in southwestern Indiana. Rick says: “I feel right at home in southeastern Indiana, No matter what part of Southern Indiana your in, folks are warm, friendly and there is so much to do. This is a exciting adventure that is taking shape here at Eagle 99.3″. Rick has 5 rambunctious kids: Gabryella, Gracie, Sophie, Makayla and Carter that he enjoys spending time with. Joe Wade Formicola is married with adult children Emily is a teacher and Joseph is going to school and having a good time. They are a close family unit and still vacation together. Melody Morgan loves radio and country music. Liz Adams has been to 49 states, and Hawaii will be #50–soon, she hopes! In college at UCLA she planned to be a sportswriter, until a friend said “Come be on the radio. We’re lots more fun.” She did baseball and basketball play-by-play before switching over to the music fun side. In addition to travel, Liz also likes guacamole, ping-pong, and quilt shows.
