5th Annual Greater Cincinnati Regional National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Golf Tournament: The 5th Annual Greater Cincinnati Regional National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Friday, June 7, 2013 at 8am and 1:30pm. Located at The Links at Rising Star Casino and Resort. Choose your golf: Morning or afternoon or both
Buffet lunch or dinner included.
We will have a morning shotgun start at 8am and an afternoon shotgun start at 1:30pm. Signup for either flight or both. Separate prizes will be awarded for each scramble. Bring your own team or we will match you up with other golfers.
Format of play is 4 person best ball with a two putt max.
Entry fee is $90/golfer or $360/foursome

Mixed Martial Arts Fights: Lawrenceburg, IN : Hollywood Casino and Bangtown Fight Wear proudly presents the UNIVERSAL CAGE COMBAT "THE RETURN" main event on Saturday, June 8. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and fights start at 8:00. This is the return of the great Chris "Superman" Schwab. Super Schwab will be fighting Kirk Miller, the "Cincy Spycho" who stands 6'7", in the main event. There will be plenty of action leading up to the main event. Super Schwab will be fighting in honor of a True American Hero, Brett Bondurant, who will be introduced to the crowd and walk to the ring with Super Schwab. It will be a great night to come out and watch the fights and help pay tribute to Purple Heart Recipient, Brett Bondurant, who will be receiving part of the proceeds from the fight. Hanover College Summer High School Academy: Hanover, IN : Hanover College will offer its Summer High School Academy June 9-14, 2013. This is a great opportunity for current high school students to experience the life of a college student for a week by staying in dormitories, eating in the campus cafeteria and attending classes taught by Hanover College professors who are experts in the various fields. The High School Academy also offers hands-on experience that will help engage and expand scholars' interests as well as deepen their knowledge of a topic.
This year's program will offer twelve different academic disciplines: Acting and Playwriting Institute, Cinema Institute: High School Classics, Civil War Institute, Computer Science Institute, Education Institute, Environmental Science Institute, Forensic Science Institute, From Script to Screen, Health Science Institute, Photography Institute, Pre-Law Institute, Psychology of Media Institute. 2013 River Sweep Clean-Up: The annual ORSANCO River Sweep clean-up will be held 9:00-11:30 a.m. The registration site in Dearborn County will be located at the parking lot for the Dearborn Trails Walkway on Manchester Landing (behind CVS) in Aurora. Each volunteer will receive a 2013 River Sweep T-shirt and will be provided with water, trash bags and gloves (while supplies last). After the cleanup, all volunteers are invited to stay for lunch. Replay for Life of Dearborn & Ohio Counties: Aurora, IN : Relay for Life of Dearborn & Ohio Counties will be on Saturday and Sunday June 22-23. It will be held at South Dearborn High School Track from 9:00 a.m. on June 22 through 9:00 a.m. on June 23. It's a festival-like atmosphere as thousands of community members take up the fight against cancer. Teams will be "camping out" around the track and members of each team take turns walking or running around the track for 24 hours. The event is filled with entertainment, games, fundraisers, great food, Opening Ceremony, Survivor Lap, Survivor Dinner, Luminaria Ceremony, and much, much more!
