Reds Sign Maholm

(Cincinnati, OH) -- The Reds are taking a flier on left-handed starter Paul Maholm. Cincinnati signed Maholm to a minor-league deal and given him an invitation to Spring Training. Maholm went 1-and-5 with 4.84 ERA with the Dodgers last year, and is coming off a torn ACL in his right knee suffered in August.
