Songwriter Wayne Carson Dead At 72

Nashville is mourning the loss of the man behind several classics, including "Always On My Mind" and "The Letter." Wayne Carson passed away yesterday at the age of 72.  He'd been suffering from several health problems. Carson was a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
