9 Dead Including Suspect In Edmonton Killing Spree

(Edmonton, AB) — Police in Edmonton, Alberta are investigating a killing spree that left nine people dead, including two children.

Edmonton Police Chief Rod Knecht said hours before the killings Monday night, officers went to a home after getting a call about a man acting suicidal. When police returned about four hours later, they found seven bodies.
The dead at one crime scene include three women, two men and two children. Police said hours before, officers responded to a call of shots fired at a home and found a dead woman. Yesterday, police found the suspect at a Vietnamese restaurant and said that he had committed suicide.
