Colts Owner Irsay Reaches Plea In Impaired Driving Case
(Indianapolis, IN) — Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay is agreeing to a plea deal in his impaired driving case. According to multiple reports, Irsay’s case is set for a change in plea on Tuesday. He had been scheduled to stand trial October 30th on two misdemeanor counts of impaired driving. Authorities say Irsay had oxycodone and/or hydrocodene in his system when he was pulled over by police in March in Carmel, Indiana. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has said he would wait for the legal process to play out before proceeding with any discipline of his own against the Colts owner.
