Corpse Falls Out Of Coroner’s Vehicle Onto Street

(Southampton, PA) — The coroner’s office in an eastern Pennsylvania town is apologizing after a corpse slid out of the vehicle that was transporting it. The “Bucks County Courier Times” reports the covered body was strapped to a gurney when it slipped out the back of the coroner’s vehicle and onto a busy street in Lower Southampton. The incident occurred Friday afternoon and the vehicle was immediately retired. The Bucks County Coroner’s Office says it “deeply regrets this incident and it will take steps to ensure that it is not repeated in the future.”
