Country Stars Pay Tribute To Cornell

Country heavyweights are paying tribute to the late rocker Chris Cornell.

The lead singer of Soundgarden and Audioslave died late Wednesday night in Detroit.

The Zac Brown Band tweeted Thursday that Cornell “touched so many” and that they “were fortunate to have worked with him.”

Jason Aldean called the Grammy award-winner “a class act and a true rockstar.”

Billy Ray Cyrus added that Cornell was a “true legend.”

Brad Paisley says its incredibly devastating that his “voice has been silenced.”

Cornell’s death was ruled a suicide.
