Dolly Parton Considering Recording Special Glastonbury Song

(London) — Dolly Parton might become a permanent part of Britain’s Glastonbury festival. The country legend, who made her debut at the event last month, tells the UK newspaper “The Sun” says she’s considering recording a song she wrote specifically for her performance. The untitled piece pays tribute to the less than pristine field conditions where the concert took place. When Dolly played the song she had the crowd of 100-thousand people chiming in on the chorus, singing “mud, mud, mud.” Parton says she’s seen “so much demand for the mud song,” so she might oblige. She adds that there’s even been “talk about getting a different artist to perform it every year” at the festival.
