Garth Brooks Debuts New Song Prior To Tour Launch

(Undated) — Garth Brooks’ comeback release is a single with a message. The country superstar addresses political and societal issues in his new song, “People Loving People,” which had its premiere via iHeartRadio Wednesday.

“People Loving People” is the first new single from Brooks since 2008′s “More Than A Memory.” It’s from the singer’s upcoming studio album, which will be his first full collection of new music since 2001′s “Scarecrow.”

The song’s arrival comes as Garth prepares to launch his first tour in more than a decade. He’ll kick off his trek with Trisha Yearwood on Thursday with the first of eleven concerts in Chicago. He also has a seven-show run scheduled to begin in Atlanta on September 19th, and he’s just announced the third stop on his tour. Garth will give three performances at Jacksonville, Florida’s Veterans Memorial Arena on October 10th, 11th, and 12th. Tickets for these dates go on sale September 12th.
