Garth Brooks Returning To “Easiest Gig On The Planet”
(Nashville, TN) — Garth Brooks says that in resuming his career, he’s returning to a rather simple routine. The country superstar explains that he’s going back to what he did back in the ’90s, which was a pretty nice way to live.
Brooks says he realized his “purpose” in life over the past 14 years raising his daughters. But the singer explains now that his girls are grown, and out pursuing their own dreams, he’s free to “eat Taco Bell at three o’clock in the morning” and “go tour again.” And the fans are welcoming him back in droves. Tickets for Brooks’ September 4th Chicago show — the first date of his upcoming world tour — went on sale last Friday. Given the high demand, the single show quickly grew into a ten-concert run. And all ten shows — a total of 180-thousand tickets — sold out in under three hours. Brooks has yet to reveal the next city he’ll visit on the tour.
Garth Brooks says over the past 14 years he found his purpose in life — being a father to his daughters — but that no longer demands his undivided time and attention.
