Garth Brooks To Release New CD This Fall, Going Digital This Week

(Undated) — Garth Brooks says he’s grateful to the songwriters who have contributed material to his upcoming album. The country superstar says they seemed to take on his studio project as “their own mission.”

Brooks adds that he’ll be releasing the new album in November, but it might not be one of his typical “Black Friday” releases. He explains that “Black Friday is moving now left and right,” and isn’t just the day after Thanksgiving, so his CD might actually hit stores a week earlier.

But fans won’t have to wait until November to download his music. A post on GarthBrooks.com says “Digital – the new era begins…” with a countdown clock that will hit zero Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. Eastern.
