Jeezy Arrested For Gun Possession Following Concert Shooting Investigation
(Irvine, CA) — Rapper Jeezy is in hot water with the law after police found an illegal firearm in his tour bus. The “Los Angeles Times” reports that the rapper was one of five people arrested Sunday at the Verizon Amphitheatre in Irvine, California where Jeezy was slated to perform as part of Wiz Khalifa’s “Under the Influence of Music” tour. Apparently, police found the weapon during an investigation into a deadly shooting that happened backstage as the tour stopped at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California Friday night. The shooting left 38-year-old Eric Johnson dead. Police say Sunday’s arrests were not connected with the shooting.
