Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley Share Valentine’s Day Plans
(Nashville, TN) — Luke Bryan admits his job creates obstacles to celebrating special occasions — like Valentine’s Day. The country star has a concert in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania Friday night, but he says he and his wife aren’t letting it keep them apart on the holiday.
But Dierks Bentley says he has other obstacles in the way of a special Valentine’s Day with his wife. The singer explains that when it comes to romantic surprises he “peaked early.” Back in December 2005, Bentley proposed to his girlfriend Cassidy, and a day later whisked her off to Mexico to get married. He says eight years have now passed, so it’s time that he “find something special to do” — which is tough with three small children at home. But Dierks says he’s hoping in the not too distant future he’ll have everything arranged for him and Cassidy to “go somewhere for like two days” and have a “48-hour party.”
Luke Bryan says it’s not unusual for Valentine’s Day to be a working holiday for him.
Dierks Bentley admits he hasn’t really given his wife Cassidy a big romantic surprise since their wedding in 2005.
Dierks Bentley says he wants to make arrangements for him and his wife to have a special getaway for just the two of them.
