M.I.A., NFL Settle Fight Over Super Bowl Finger
(Undated) — M.I.A. and the NFL have reportedly reached an agreement. “The Hollywood Reporter” says the British musician and the National Football league have resolved their battle over the middle finger M.I.A. flashed on live TV during the 2012 Super Bowl halftime show at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The league supposedly demanded more than 15-million dollars and an apology for tarnishing their reputation, but M.I.A. publicly ridiculed the NFL for claiming to be wholesome. The terms of the settlement are being kept under wraps, so it’s still unclear who came out on top in this dispute.
