Mizzou May Allow More Benefits For Student-Athletes

(Indianapolis, IN) — Players at Mizzou may soon be getting more benefits to help pay for the cost of attending school. The NCAA is giving the Southeastern Conference and the other four power conferences the leeway to make new rules regarding compensating athletes. That could mean money, guaranteed scholarships, travel allowances, and more. The proposal could be shot down if 75 or more schools from other conferences express their disapproval during the next 60 days.
