Napa Boy Critically Injured In Quake Is Recovering
(Sacramento, CA) — A Napa Valley boy is on the road to recovery after being crushed by dozens of bricks from Sunday’s California earthquake. Thirteen-year-old Nicholas Dillon has been upgraded from critical to fair condition following nearly ten hours of surgery to repair multiple fractures to his pelvis. Dillon will spend four-to-five months in a wheelchair, but is expected to make a full recovery. Dillon was having a slumber party in his family’s living room when the magnitude 6.0 earthquake caused dozens of bricks from the fireplace to come tumbling down on top of him.
