Star Studded Event Raises Money For Hurricane Relief

A handful of country music start were among the celebrities who performed at the “Hand in Hand: A Benefit For Hurricane Relief” telethon.

Usher and country music singer, Blake Shelton, sang a rendition of “Stand By Me.” Other performances included Tori Kelly, Luis Fonsi, Demi Lovato, Brad Paisley and a closing by Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapelton and George Strait.

More than 100 celebrities took part in the event last night by answering phones and asking the public for donations. They include Justin Timberlake, Justin Bieber, Drake, Jamie Foxx, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks, Oprah, Beyonce, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon and so much more.

The telethon was broadcast from Nashville, Los Angeles, New York and Texas, and it raised more than $14 million in just one hour.
