Gunfire Ends With Five Arrests

(Lexington, KY) -- Police in Lexington responded to gunshots and stopped a car carrying several young men. They failed to find the shooter, but found three guns and drugs early yesterday. Five people are under arrest for various crimes. No one was hurt during a dozen shots being fired near Shropshire Avenue and Third Street.

(Mercer County, KY) -- Investigators are probing the suspicious death of a veteran in Mercer County. James Price had health problems that were not considered the cause of his death on Friday in his home. Price is a veteran of the Iraq War. The cause of death is being sought by the medical examiner.

Man’s Fiery Death Was Suicide

(Middlesboro, TN) -- Police in Middlesboro say a man found dead following a house fire committed suicide. Investigators tell WYMT-TV 41-year-old Melvin Ray Shackleford set fire to his home on Wednesday and then killed himself. Further details haven't been released.
