(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The jackpot winning tickets for Wednesday’s Powerball drawing were sold in three states, but not here.

The $1.586 billion prize will be split among three people who purchased their tickets in Chino Hills, California; Melbourne Beach, Florida; and Munford, Tennessee. They matched all the numbers: 4, 8, 19, 27, 34, and Powerball 10.

There were also many $2 million winners across the country.  Winning tickets for that amount were sold in Arizona, Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, New Jersey, Tennessee and Texas.

$1 million winning tickets were sold in 23 states including Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. The Indiana $1 million winner was sold in Terre Haute. In Ohio, three $1 million winning tickets were purchased in Cleveland, Toledo, and Centerville.

Kentucky Lottery officials say that a $1 million winning Powerball ticket in Wednesday’s record-breaking drawing was purchased in Walton. The $1 million ticket was among three in the Commonwealth, with others in Hazard and Paducah.

However, there were a couple $50,000 Powerball tickets sold in our neck of the woods. Fifteen tickets sold in Indiana matched four of the first five numbers. Two of them were sold in Batesville and Madison. Five $50,000 winners were sold in Kentucky, including one in Florence.

The names of the locations where the tickets were sold have not yet been announced.

Be sure to check all your Powerball tickets before pitching them in the trash. The Multi State Lottery Commission says 26 million tickets won at least a $4 prize in Wednesday’s drawing. See the prizes here.
