(Batesville, Ind.) – A Batesville man is going to prison after being convicted of dealing marijuana to area youth.

Brian W. Bradley was sentenced Friday in Ripley County Superior Court. He was given a 2 ½ year sentence: 1 ½ years in prison and one year suspended to probation.

Bradley, 52, was convicted by a jury April 11 on a charge of Dealing Marijuana (Class D felony).

Chief Deputy Prosecutor Ryan King said that he believed that the judge’s decision was based on the amount of marijuana found within Bradley’s Walnut Street apartment, as well as testimony establishing that Bradley was frequently selling marijuana.
