6th District Job Fair At Ivy Tech L’burg Wed.

image(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Folks looking for work or a new job may find one in downtown Lawrenceburg on Wednesday, October 16.


Indiana Congressman Luke Messer (R-IN 6), Dearborn County Commissioners, and WorkOne Southeast are partnering for a job fair hosted by Ivy Tech Community College’s riverfront campus. It will run from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., with the first hour reserved just for military veterans.


Admission is free to everyone.


In addition to the various regional and local companies looking to hire, the fair will offer resume development as well as workshops on interviewing, how to work a job fair, and how to fill out an application. Attendees are asked to call (812) 537-1117 to schedule a workshop.


Parking for the job fair will be available on the first and second floor of the City of Lawrenceburg parking garage. Attendees should take their parking voucher to the fourth floor of Ivy Tech for validation.


Rep. Messer and Dearborn County Commissioner Kevin Lynch will join Eagle 99.3 at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday to discuss the job fair and other issues.
