(Milan, Ind.) – Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a crash that put three people in the hospital Monday morning.

Ripley County interim Sheriff Rob Bradley says Zachary Taylor, 23, of Milan, was driving a 1999 Ford F-350 pickup truck on County Road 750 East at about 4:18 a.m. when the truck went off the left side of the road and collided with a tree.

Taylor and two passengers – Courtney Taylor, 21, of Milan and Kenton Graham, 23, of Versailles – all suffered injuries and were rushed by Milan Rescue 30 to Margaret Mary Health in Batesville.

In addition to the possibility of alcohol, police say that none of the victims were wearing seatbelts.
