Apartment Fire Takes Everything From Couple

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – While firefighters continue to investigate a fire that damaged an apartment building, one of the families that lived there is trying to pick up the pieces.

The apartment building on the 200 block of Short Street caught fire on Easter Sunday evening.

Eight people were displaced, including Richie and Kimber Nare. They say they lost all of their belongings in the fire.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the Nares get back on their feet. The page has a $3,000 fundraising goal, with $725 raised as of Friday morning. You can doante at https://www.gofundme.com/tegk4-house-fire-total-loss.

Lawrenceburg Fire Chief Johnnie Tremain said Thursday the cause of the fire is still undetermined.
