(Williamstown, Ky.) – If you’re looking for a new family activity this holiday season, you might consider a light show at Ark Encounter.

The theme park in Williamstown, Kentucky will have a laser light projection show called ChristmasTime at the Ark. The light show is projected onto the side of the park’s 510-foot long replica of Noah’s ark.

“Our guests will encounter the wonder of the incredible Ark and the Christmas message in a very special way. Christians and non-Christians alike will enjoy this technologically cutting-edge program,” said Ken Ham, president and CEO of Answers in Genesis, the ministry which created Ark Encounter.

ChristmasTime at the Ark will run from December 8 through January 15, 2018, but is closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The light shows will begin at 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 each evening.

The free event does not include $10 for parking, entry into the Ark, food, animal rides, or retail items.

Answers in Genesis’ Creation Museum on Petersburg will also continue with Christmas activities December 15 through 30. Visitors can walk the museum grounds decorated with lights and enjoy festivities from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. each evening, except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The only cost is $5 for parking. Tickets are still needed to enter the Creation Museum.
