(Aurora, Ind.) – Aurora residents are invited to share their thoughts on the Aurora Parks 5-Year Master Plan.

The City of Aurora is in the process of creating a master plan for the parks system, which is designed to meet the needs of city residents.

Rundell Ernstberger, Associates, an Indianapolis-based landscape architecture and planning firm, has been retained by the city to provide facilitation and technical guidance throughout the process.

The planning process will include a review of existing conditions and documents, public input, and recommendations for infrastructure improvements and policy changes.

The public will have a chance to give their input at an open house on Wednesday, April 5 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Great Crescent Brewery, 315 Importing Street.

The purpose of the meeting is to gather input on conceptual layouts and recommendations for the new park system.
