Batesville HS Continuing Classes After Bomb Scare
By Travis Thayer
(Batesville, Ind.) – Batesville High School is continuing as normal following a bomb threat early this morning.
The Batesville Herald Tribune reports that a bomb threat was called into the school around 8:06 on Wednesday morning.
Batesville Police responded and conducted a full interior and exterior sweep of the high school.
The school remained on lockdown for two hours before the administration was cleared to resume daily activities.
Police say the threat was called in from outside the city and state, and the caller likely didn’t mean to contact Batesville High School.
