Batesville Police Warn Residents Of Vehicle Break-Ins

(Batesville, Ind.) – Batesville residents are being urged to keep their vehicles locked after a string of break-ins over the weekend.

The Batesville Police Department says it is investigating multiple vehicle break-ins that occurred late Saturday night into Sunday morning.

A total of six residents reported that someone got into their unlocked vehicles and stole change. The break-ins occurred in the area of Cedar Lane and West Catherine Street.

Residents are reminded to keep their vehicles locked and report suspicious activity immediately.
