Beautiful Babies Crowned At Dearborn County Fair

(Dearborn County, Ind.) – A Grand Champion Prince and Princess were chosen at the Dearborn County 4-H & Community Fair Baby Contest, sponsored annually by the Dearborn County Hospital Birthing Center.
Chosen as the Grand Champion Princess was 1-year-old Jaycee Gordon of Lawrenceburg. Karter Wismann, 9 months old, of Aurora, won the Grand Champion Prince title.
Audrey Roth, Miss Dearborn County Fair Queen, presented $100 savings accounts and trophies to the winners, courtesy of the Dearborn County Hospital Birthing Center.
Two additional $50 savings accounts were awarded as door prizes by DCH Physician Partners practices. The prizes were courtesy of Obstetrician/Gynecologist Carol Lovins, M.D., and Certified Nurse Midwife, Amanda Parker, C.N.M., of the Partners in Health Women’s Center; and Obstetrician/Gynecologists Stephan Kraeling, M.D., and Edward Reece, D.O., and Pediatricians Courtney Caños, M.D., Veronica Jensen, M.D., Alma Maric, M.D., and Elizabeth Reece, M.D., of the Center for Women & Children.
Baby quilts were also awarded to the winners and as door prizes through the generosity of the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program.

This seems like exactly the kind of thing that an obstetrician would support. There's a lot of reasons you might want to enter your baby in a contest like this. Frankly, ob/gyn's are in the business of babies. It makes sense for them to support that culture as much as possible!
