UPDATE: Moores Hill Man Was Hurt In Monday’s Scooter Wreck

Update posted Tuesday, July 29 at 1:15 p.m.:

Moores Hill Police have identified the driver of a scooter that was involved the crash on State Road 350 near Manchester Street Monday afternoon.

Officers say Jason Miller, 28, of Moores Hill was eastbound on SR 350 on the 150cc scooter when a passenger car heading westbound attempted to make a left turn onto Manchester Street but crossed into Miller’s path.

Miller suffered a head injury. He was conscious at the scene before being flown to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Officers were not aware of his current medical condition.

The accident remains under investigation by the Moores Hill Police Department. 

 

Update posted Monday, July 28 at 3:53 p.m.:

The accident scene on State Road 350 has been cleared.

The name and condition of the motorcyclist injured in the crash has not been released.

Moores Hill Police are handling the accident investigation, dispatchers said.

(Moores Hill, Ind.) – Air Care is being summoned to a crash involving a motorcycle on State Road 350 Monday afternoon.

A motorcycle and passenger vehicle collided on State Road 350 near Manchester Street at around 2:40 p.m.

A male operator of the motorcycle was reported to have a head injury. Aircare was being called to a nearby landing location to take the victim to the hospital.

Before you go making rude comments, calling names and claiming it wasn't an accident, take into consideration that most people just don't drive around hitting people for the heck of it and I'm sure the driver feels horrible about it. Accidents are called accidents for a reason...meaning it wasn't supposed to happen!
