UPDATE: Missing Woman Found Dead In Pond

Dearborn County Sheriff’s investigators have identified the victim found deceased in a pond Wednesday morning as Peggy Dean, of Aurora.
Dean lived on Douglas Drive, not far from the pond in which her body was found.
The 57-year-old woman’s death is believed to be accidental. An autopsy will be performed to determine Dean’s cause of death.

(Aurora, Ind.) – The search for a woman reported missing in the Aurora area appears to have ended tragically this morning.
A woman reportedly suffering from Alzheimer’s disease was reported missing in the area of Dutch Hollow Road and Hoppy Hollow Road near U.S. 50 in Aurora. The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department was searching for the 57-year-old woman described a white, 5’6” tall with blonde hair and wearing a white shirt or nightgown.
The woman, whose name has not been released, had wandered from her home in the nearby Millstone Drive area at about 6:00 a.m. A passerby spotted her on Dutch Hollow Road around that time, said Captain David Wismann.
Wismann said the woman was located in a pond on Dutch Hollow Road around 9:00 a.m. Eagle 99.3 has learned that the Dearborn County Coroner has been summoned to that pond.
