Brookville Man Accused Of Domestic Abuse

(Brookville, Ind.) – A Brookville man is accused of domestic battery.

Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to an ongoing physical domestic disturbance at a home on Bushy Road in the late evening hours of August 12.

Upon arrival, deputies say they located a female locked outside of the home by a male subject identified as Casey Cupp.

Cupp, 24, was taken into custody and charged with Strangulation (Level 6 felony) and Domestic Battery (Class A misdemeanor). He was lodged in the Franklin County Security Center on five-thousand dollars cash surety bond.

If convicted, Cupp could face up to 2 ½ years in prison.
