Burlington Biker Killed In I-75 Hit-Skip
(Cincinnati, Oh.) – The driver in a deadly hit-skip crash that claimed a Burlington man’s life on Interstate 75 Monday is in jail.
Monday evening, Cincinnati Police arrested Brittany Ison. The arrest came nearly 12 hours after she allegedly rear-ended a motorcycle on I-75 near I-74 in Cincinnati with her 1993 Honda Accord at about 7:20 a.m., killing Jason Claypool.
Investigators say Claypool, 39, lost control of his motorcycle after he was struck and crashed into a guardrail. He was rushed to University Hospital where he later died.
Ison, 20, is charged with vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of an accident. She was being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center as of Tuesday morning.
