Buy A Book, Help Domestic Violence Victims

(Batesville, Ind.) – A book sale going on Thursday through Saturday will help a local women’s shelter.

 

Church on the Rock in Batesville says over 10,000 titles are available at their annual used book sale.

 

Proceeds are being donated to the Safe Passage Domestic Violence Shelter in Batesville.

 

The sale will be 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday. The church is located at 407 North Township Line Road.

 

Safe Passage provides individualized case management services to help victims of domestic violence achieve independence and security. The organization assists victims in obtaining housing, finding a job, attending school, and more. Safe Passage also provides counseling, support group, domestic violence education, referrals to services and life skills classes on various topics.
