Car Stolen From Milan Resident’s Driveway

auto-theft-08012014(Milan, Ind.) – A Milan resident is out of a car after somebody stole his on Monday, July 28.

Roger Smith arrived home on E County Road 700 North at around 2:00 a.m. that morning, Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies say in a news release. He noticed his dark blue Toyota Carolla four-door car was missing from the driveway.

The sheriff’s office said no keys were left in the vehicle, which remains missing as of Friday.

The vehicle had Indiana license plate VSH244. A white sheet was used as a seat cover on the back seats. The front seat covers had pink and purple flower patterns and matched the design of the steering wheel cover. A silver and black rosary was hanging from the rearview mirror.
