(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A newly established medical clinic for low-income southeastern Indiana residents is planning its first community reception.
The Dearborn Clinic has changed its named to Volunteers in Medicine of Dearborn, Ohio & Switzerland Counties. Its mission is to provide no-cost, quality medical care to under-served residents of those three counties.
The clinic will hold a reception at the Lawrenceburg Event Center on Wednesday, December 6 from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m.
Marjorie Hamrell, director of clinical development of Volunteers in Medicine, and Sasha K. Bianchi, executive director of Volunteers in Medicine, plan to reveal the location of the clinic and VIM’s approval to move forward with the clinic opening.
The reception event is free to attend. Free appetizers and a cash bar will be available. Ticket reservations are available at https://vimdosclinic.org/.
The clinic is staffed by volunteer professionals. Longtime Dearborn County physician Dr. Lynn Eiler was named VIMDOS’ executive medical director earlier this month.
