Clutch Performance Nets Batesville 8th Grader K Of C Free Throw State Championship

(Batesville, Ind.) – A nearly perfect performance has netted a Batesville middle schooler a free throw state championship.

The 2017 Knights of Columbus Free Throw State Championship took place on March 12 at Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in Greenwood.

The Batesville Herald Tribune reports that Batesville 8th grader Paige Oldham connected on 23-of-25 free throws to win the competition in the 14 and under division.

Over the course of the tournament, Oldham went a combined 48-for-65 (73.8%) over three rounds.
