(Delhi, Oh.) – The College of Mount Saint Joseph is preparing for its final commencement as a college.
“The Mount” will become Mount St. Joseph University on July 1, the school announced last October. The change was made to allow Mount St. Joseph to “leverage its expanding academic offerings including increasing its number of graduate programs for masters and doctorate degrees, as well as implementing online programs.”
The commencement on Saturday, May 10 will take place in the Jean Patrice Harrington Student Center. A ceremony for adult and graduate students will be held at 10:00 a.m. and the ceremony for traditional students will be held at 2:30 p.m.
With the change to Mount St. Joseph University, the Catholic co-ed school will add a new Saturday MBA program, a new health and wellness major, and eight options for a three year major including accounting, biochemistry, biology, business administration, chemistry, history, sociology and psychology.
