(Hebron, Ky.) – A Conner High School teacher is accused of inappropriate behavior toward a student.

Clinton Bell, 37, of Hebron, was arrested Friday on charges of first degree sexual abuse and unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities.

Boone County Sheriff’s investigators allege Bell sent explicit text messages to a 15-year-old junior student and inappropriately touched the student at the school between last February and May.

“Conner High School administrators cooperated fully with our investigation. Bell turned himself in to Detective Tracy Watson upon notification she had obtained a warrant for his arrest,” a news release from the sheriff’s office stated.

Bell is in jail at the Boone County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond.
