Crash Closes New Haven Road Until 10 AM Monday
(Harrison, Oh.) – Harrison-area commuters beware this morning. New Haven Road is shut down at the intersection with Mount Hope Road in Crosby Township.
That’s because there was a single-vehicle crash about 10:00 p.m. Sunday night at the intersection in which a car wrecked into a guardrail and a utility pole. A 16-year-old female driver form Harrison and a 15-year-old passenger were both taken to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies.
Alcohol, drugs, and speed are not believed to be factors in the crash, which remains under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Traffic Safety Unit.
Utility crews are on scene Monday morning attempting to fix the broken utility pole and downed wires. The intersection of New Haven and Mount Hope roads could remain closed until 10:00 a.m. Monday.
