Crash Puts Three In Hospital

(Brookville, Ind.) – Three people were injured when a vehicle went off the road and rolled near Brookville on Saturday, May 10.

A 2004 Chevrolet was westbound on U.S. 52 near Yellow Bank Road west of Brookville at about 3:40 a.m. when it travelled off the highway, according to a Franklin County Sheriff’s Department press release.

The vehicle struck a stop sign, a utility pole, and several trees as it rolled.

Three people inside were injured. They have been identified as Kevin Pflum, 35, of Brookville; Lesley A. Lee, 36, of Brookville; and Lisa S. Martin, 35, of Metamora.

All three were transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center for multiple injuries. Their current conditions were not released.

The driver of the vehicle was listed as “unknown.”

The accident remains under investigation Monday.

Other units at the scene included the Brookville Fire Department and Franklin County EMS.
