D.J. Adkins Wins Inaugural Battle Of The Banks At L’Burg Fall Fest

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Day one of the 2017 Lawrenceburg Fall Fest was highlighted by the inaugural Battle of the Banks.
Seven bands, sponsored by seven area banks battled for the judges votes with 30-minute sets on the Fall Fest main stage.
The top prize of $200 went to D.J. Adkins, who was sponsored by Dearborn Savings Bank in Lawrenceburg. Adkins also won the opportunity to perform as an opening act at next year’s Fall Fest.
Second place went to Bogus Hollow (Friendship State Bank). Third place was Rusty Bladen (MainSource Bank).
Other competing bands and banks include: Rockoons (First Financial Bank), Terry Johnson (U.S. Bank), The Whiskey Brothers (UCB), and Channel Kats (Woodforest National Bank).
Day two of Lawrenceburg Fall Fest begins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
