Some Dearborn County Bridges Reopen, Others To Close Next Week

road-construction-graphic(Dearborn County, Ind.) – Three more Dearborn County bridges will close to traffic starting Monday, August 11.

Paul H. Rohe Company began rehabilitation projects on bridges on Spangler Road, Grelle Road, and Voltz Road in the southern portion of the county on July 25. Those project are expected to wrap up and reopen the bridges to traffic the week of August 11-15, said Gary Davidson, operations manager with the contracted company.

Davidson says crews will move to three new bridge sites in northern Dearborn County starting August 11. Closed around the clock for at least four weeks will be Bridge #74 on Blue Creek Road, Bridge #137 on Konradi Road, and Bridge #213 on Bischoff Hill Road.

The final bridge project on Paul H. Rohe Company’s current agenda is on Johnson Fork Road near the Franklin County line. That bridge will close in mid-September and remain closed for up to six weeks.
