Indiana Democrat candidate for State Auditor will be the keynote speaker at the Dearborn County Democrat Party Jefferson-Jackson Dinner.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) – Dearborn County’s Democrat Party will welcome candidates for national, state, and local office to their Jefferson-Jackson Dinner on Saturday, April 26.

The event to be held at Agner Hall at the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds will open at 5:30 p.m. with a dinner at 6:00. After meal time, the guests will hear from a number of speakers.

Delivering the night’s keynote address will be Mike Claytor, Democrat candidate for Indiana State Auditor. Claytor is a previous deputy state examiner of the Board of Accounts. His campaign manager says he is the first CPA to ever run for State Auditor in Indiana.

Also slated to appear is Rising Sun attorney Lane Siekman, one of three candidates for the Democrat nomination for Indiana’s 6th District seat in U.S. Congress. Siekman’s May 6th primary opponents Susan Hall Heitzman and Corrine Nicole Westerfield have not confirmed their attendance, dinner organizers said.

Indiana state senate candidates Jake Hoog in Senate District 27 and Rudy Howard in District 43 will speak. Both are residents of Dearborn County running unopposed in the May primary. Brookville’s Rick Gill, the Democrat candidate for House District 68, will join.

Organizers said that Democrat candidates for Dearborn County offices are also expected at the Jefferson-Jackson Dinner.
