(Sunman, Ind.) – There will be much to do, but wine won’t be on the menu at an upcoming festival in Sunman.

The Sunman Firemen’s Festival happens Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10 at Sunman Community Park.

The festival, previously named the Sunman Fire and Wine Festival, will return to its original name after two years of partnering with the chamber’s wine festival.

Although wine won’t be available, Friday’s festivities will begin at 4:30 p.m. with a smoked pork chop dinner, and live music by “Automation” and “Take a Chance.” Saturday will feature a chicken dinner from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., with live music from “Austin” and “Renegades.”

Other weekend activities include beer gardens, raffles, kids amusements and games, and the popular kids tractor pull.

A Wood Bat Softball Tournament is also being planned. For more information, call Dennis Siebert at 812-623-3113.
