Dr. Mann Spitler To Share Daughter’s Overdose Story, Prevention Tactics

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A nationally renowned speaker is coming to Lawrenceburg to share the story of his daughter’s tragic death from heroin.

Dearborn County Citizens Against Substance Abuse and the Dearborn County Health Department invite the public to hear Dr. Mann Spitler on Monday, May 23 at 6:00 p.m. at the Ivy Tech Riverfront Campus in Lawrenceburg.

Dr. Spitler will share the tragic story of his daughter Manda, and her death from heroin. He will also discuss the signs of heroin use, early intervention tactics, and the resources available to help heroin users.

The event is free to the public and those who attend will be treated to a pizza dinner.
