Driver Hurt When Vehicle Strikes Guardrail

(Franklin County, Ind.) – An Oxford, Ohio resident was injured in a crash on U.S. 52 in Franklin County over the weekend.

Sheriff’s deputies say a 2005 Chevy Impala went off the roadway and struck a guardrail on U.S. 52 at St. Peters Road just after 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 17.  The driver, Ernest Howard, 67, had failed to navigate a turn.

Howard was taken by Drewersburg EMS ambulance to University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

The New Trenton Volunteer Fire Department and Responder 24 assisted at the crash scene.
