Driver Missing From Vehicle Fire

(Guilford, Ind.) – Police are trying to locate the person who was driving a vehicle that was found burning on the side of a Dearborn County road Tuesday evening.

Firefighters with Miller-York Fire Department were called to the 5100 block of Kaiser Drive at about 9:08 p.m., said assistant fire chief Skip Stutz. The vehicle was fully involved in flames when they arrived.

The vehicle, believed to be a Honda Civic, was destroyed. A cause of the fire is unknown, Stutz said.

No injuries were reported.

A driver could not be found near the vehicle. The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department is trying to track that person. If you have information, call (812) 537-3431.
