(Clermont County, Oh.) – A suspect dubbed the “Duck Dynasty” robber has struck another tri-state hair salon.
Eagle 99.3 previously told you about an armed robbery at the Great Clips, in the Kroger Plaza at 70 West Eads Parkway, in Lawrenceburg the evening of June 25. In that robbery, a man dressed in a long-sleeve, black shirt, jeans, a black stocking hat, and a long, dark, fake beard used a handgun to intimidate employees.
He then got into the salon’s cash register and ran off on-foot.
Police in Clermont County, Ohio’s Miami Township say it appears the same suspect held up a salon there July 5.
The man – dressed similarly in dark clothing, sunglasses, a knit cap, and the long, fake beard – entered the Sport Clips salon, 1081 State Route 28 in Miami Township, at around 5:38 p.m. He displayed a semi-automatic handgun.
Surveillance video showed the suspect hold two employees at gunpoint while he calmly emptied the cash register and safe. He also took personal items from the employees. The man left the store on foot through the rear of the building.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’2” to 6’4” tall who appears to weigh between 225-250 lbs. with a large, muscular build.
Anybody with information that can help identify the suspect is asked to call Lawrenceburg Police Lt. Brian Miller at (812) 537-2284 or Miami Township Police Det. Greg Jenkins at (513) 248-3721.
Nobody was hurt in either robbery.
Surely there is video somewhere from a neighboring store or parking lot of his vehicle arriving or leaving.
I was at the Shooting Range this week. There were over 40 Salon Owners and 70 Stylist there, and they were all deadly shots. I was impressed. They were from Dearborn County and Kentucky.
